When does the free trial start, and what happens at the end?
Your 14 days begin when your booking page goes live, not when you apply — so the trial is time you can actually use. It's a free subscription, not free transactions: the platform fee applies from your first booking. At the end, your plan begins.
When can I take card payments?
As soon as you connect a payout account and Stripe verifies you. The Seshy platform fee is flat — 1% on Solo, 0% on Studio — and Stripe's standard processing applies on top. Cash, Zelle, and in-person are always free.
How does the platform fee work — and is it a commission?
No commission on your work. Two costs sit on a card payment: Stripe's standard processing rate (the industry cost of getting paid) and a small Seshy platform fee — a flat sliver of each payment that funds the booking, invoicing, and upsell engine that earned you the sale. It's not a cut of your sales, there are no per-feature charges, and money lands straight in your bank. Prefer to keep 100%? Build the fee into checkout so the client covers it.
When should I move from Solo to Studio?
Around $5,000 a month. Below that, Solo's $30 plus 1% costs less. Above it, Studio's $80 with no platform fee costs less — and it includes three seats.
What are verified reviews?
Every review is checked against a real, phone-authenticated booking, so a rating only exists if someone actually showed up and paid. Seshy asks for the review at the right moment, publishes the praise on your booking page, and sends the constructive notes to you privately — proof of real work, not bought ratings.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your account settings whenever you want. You keep your paid features through the end of the billing period.
